Carriage rides into the Fex valley
A ride in a horse-drawn carriage: the experience for families, groups, company events or weddings
Get on one of our horse-drawn carriages on the village square of Sils and let yourself be carried away to the fascinating and car-free Val Fex. On the leisurely ride you will immerse yourself in the idyllic landscape and the world of the mountains - let yourself be enchanted! The Val Fex is one of the most beautiful side valleys in the Engadine and a meeting point for hikers and gourmets. Both can be wonderfully combined with a carriage ride.
We do offer day and night trips (night trips only on reservation) with our carriage. Whether in summer or winter season, a carriage ride to Val Fex is always an once-in-a-lifetime experience.
An excursion for families, groups, company events, weddings or simply as a successful end after an exhausting hike.
There are three small hamlets that we drive to by carriage. The first is Fex - Platta; the journey takes about 20 minutes. There you will find the "Pensiun Chesa Pool" which is the first vegetarian Hotel in the Engadine. To reach the second hamlet, Fex - Crasta, it takes you about 30 minutes. At Crasta you can visit the charmful little church "Santa Margarita" from 1490, which attracts numerous visitors. The "Hotel Sonne" and the "Pension Crasta" welcome you for food and drinks. If you take the 50 minutes horse-drawn carriage ride, you will arrive at the last stop Fex - Curtins. At the "Hotel Fex" you can treat yourself with delicious food. You want to book a return trip? Wonderful, a layover of 1.5 hours is included in the price. Night rides include even a 2-hour stay.
